Inuyasha Episode 22: A Wicked Smile/Kikyo's Wandering Soul
There is a chasm between you and I which I cannot breach. You give yourself to save me, but I am not the one in your heart. You send me away with longing, and I yearn to be with you. Reunited, you seem happy, yet your heart is far. It is in a place, no, a time I cannot reach. We are connected to tomorrow. I reach into the past to take your hand, but farther back you are. Someday you will see me for who I am, but not until you let go and breach the chasm between us.
