The Keeper of the Night
I've felt his glory on the mountains
See his beauty in the streams
My heart doth stolen by the Keeper of the Night
He bares his cross without knowing its effect upon thine eye
He guides the water with a gentle flowing hand
My heart doth stolen by the Keeper of the Night
He holds a lady in his keep and beasts by his command.
His majesty triumph reflects in childhood gaze
My heart doth stolen by the Keeper of the Night
Some nights he turns away from me and reveals the darkest side
He brings the screams of silent darkness
I've seen his wrath upon the sea
Where fears and shadows often hide
Awaits the chance to strike the mind
His gentle place inside my heart doth yearn for his return
He leadeth me not knowing that my strings to thy attach
I am a mindless puppet under mercy's valuable control
Under him, roam demons, children of the night
Above him, lie the angels, quite mothers of the morning
Beside him there I'll be, smiling ever graciously
