A poem written in Katrina Van Tassel's point of view from the movie Sleepy Hollow where she curses the day Ichabod Crane came to Sleepy Hollow

I come to question, if you loved me

Would have you went against my family

I think you have no heart, just a logical mind

And I had the mind to give you my heart at a time

I come to question, all that you're saying

Do you not see my heart is breaking

Why did I give you a piece of my mind

For I was simply wasting my time

I come to question, why you have done this

And how I lent you my kiss

If I never knew your name I wouldn't have seen you this shallow

I curse the day you came to Sleepy Hollow
