Idk y im doing this. I think because i was just reading the new house of night book and i was like holy sh*t! Stevie Rae and Heath would make the perfect couple! So i went on to fanfiction and looked up stories about them, and Sarahberry was the only 1 who wrote 1! So, I just had to write 1. U understand.

Stevie Rae's P.O.V.

I was just laying down on my bed, glad to be back at the House of Night, when I heard a knock at the door.

I opened the door and frowned. "Heath, Zoey's not here." I said, trying to close the door. He stuck out his foot to prevent it from closing.

"I know." He said with a sly wink. My heart fluttered. I opened the door and let him in. He closed and locked the door behind him.

We sat on my bed and he stroked my hair. "I love your blonde curls, Stevie Rae." He said, his lips brushing my ear.

I giggled. "I like your curls too, Heath." I said in my normal voice (it's nearly impossible for me to whisper)

"Noone understands us." He said, his voice rising slightly in anger.

"I understand you, Heath." I said, meeting his gaze.

"I understand you too, Stevie Rae." He said, staring longingly at me. I felt my cheeks burn.

"And that's why we're meant to be together." He said, opening his arms to me. I hesitated. What if Zoey finds out? I thought. Was it worth the risk?

Heath chuckled. "Don't worry, Zoey will never find out." He said with complete confidence. I hesitated for another moment, then accepted the invitation of his embrace. Besides, who would tell her? Not Heath, and certainly not me. Noone else was around. It's not like Zoey could see what we were doing all the time.

My eyes snapped open. .GODESS! Nyx! Zoey might not be able to see what we were doing, but Nyx could! And her and Zoey were like that.

Please, Nyx, I sent a silent prayer. You've taken so much from me already, just let me have this one night to myself. I couldn't actually hear Nyx, but something told me she would let it go.

Heath nibbled on my ear. I closed my eyes again, knowing we had complete privacy.
