Will snorted with amusement. He watched as Jack flounced up and down the deck, inspecting the rag-tag 'crew' that Gibbs had rustled up from Tortuga.

Every eye was on Jack. It may have been Gibbs talking, or Cotton's estranged parrot, but every single eye followed the Captain's slinky walk, and his ever-moving hands.

It was in his hands.

That's what it was. Jack's hands, they never stopped moving. One minute, they might be flying about all over the place as he was prattling on about one thing or the other, or just doing that funny thing when he walked, or as many said, strutted, or curled around the hilt of a sword or his pistol. Or trailing down Will's body.

Will, however, was looking at what was in Jack's hand.

A banana.

A normal, common, yellow banana.

He had no idea why the Captain was carrying a banana on while inspecting a new crew of would-be pirates. Perhaps, the only explanation was that.

Well, it was Captain Jack Sparrow.

Anyway, it was what he was doing with said banana that was Will's source of amusement.

Gibbs announced the crew as "All of them faithful hands before the mast," with a measure of pride in his voice.

Jack looked the crew, ahem, up and down, and to Will with a sly smirk on his face. He flashed his trademark grin and wink, and held the banana up, subtly caressing it with his fingers, before turning around to Anamaria.

When his face was turned around again by the force of the woman's slap, he winked at Will. "Maybe we'll see how faithful you are before my...I mean, the mast later on, ey, laddie?" He whispered, waggling his eyebrows suggestively.

He turned back around, only to be slapped again.

Will smirked and struggled to keep a straight face. Noticing that the banana was still in the Captain's hand, he whispered back, "Depends. What's in store for your, ah, banana?"

A grin. "I'll show you later."

And indeed, he did. It was, after all, all in the hands.

Short, I know. But I liked it. Just that little scene, so adorable. And the double innuendos.

Actually, cheers to Em for pointing out the banana thing. Why the hell was he carrying a banana? I don't know, but the fact is, he was. I'm not lying, it's all there.
