(Author's note: Hi, this is my second fanfic!)

They had sat there for just over fifteen minutes, but Pansy was so happy that it felt like forever. It was a perfect summer's evening; she was with the boy she loved and was in her favourite place- the Black Lake. Everything seemed perfect and nothing could ruin it.

"Pansy?" said Draco slowly. Pansy turned her head to look at him, "Hmmm?"

Well, we've been going out for three years now ... and I feel like we've become so close. You understand me so well, not like the other Slytherins... or anyone who knows me. What we have Pansy... it's special.

Pansy was looking at him, smiling but slightly puzzled about why he was saying all of this. She reassured him "Draco, I feel it too. You don't have to say it, we both know it, and we both feel that way." Draco smiled back nervously, trying to find a way of telling her what he wanted to say.

"What I'm trying to say is, you're not like everyone else. They all see me as a coward, a bully, a cold-hearted person. You're different, you see me for who I really am. What we have, the special bond between us, I never want to lose it. I never want to lose you. Pansy ... will you do me the amazing honour of marrying me?"

Pansy hadn't expected that, it took her completely by surprise. She sat there stunned for a few moments, and then remembered that Draco was still waiting for an answer. She knew what that answer was.

"Draco, I feel exactly the same way as you do. You see me for my true self. I love you. Draco Malfoy, of course I will marry you!"

The both smiled in happiness, then kissed passionately to seal the special moment. Then Draco produced his wand and wrote in the air "Pansy and Draco, together forever". Pansy realised that she was right, nothing could've ruined this evening. But this had made it even more perfect. At this very point, she was the luckiest and happiest witch in the wizarding world.
