Jasper ran down the corridor, packing as much guns and ammunition as she could carry. They were crude and primitive by her standards, but she couldn't deny their usefulness in fighting these beasts. She couldn't even remember how she got here, but she couldn't deny that these abominations were putting up a good fight, and that just made tearing them apart all the more satisfying.

Turning, she ran straight into an imp that she quickly turned to pink mist with a blast of her double-barreled shotgun. That set off the hive, as demons of all shapes and sizes came out of the woodwork, looking for a fight. That suited her just fine and she quickly brought out her rocket launcher and started blasting away at the forces of hell.

Many of the weaker demons were quickly annihilated by her perfectly aimed rockets. A Revenant got behind her and started firing off rockets. Thinking quickly, she made a quick, one-hundred and eighty degree turn and blew it's upper body clean off with a well placed shot from her Gauss cannon. Cacodemons were blown apart , their blood and guts falling on the battlefield. A particularly unlucky one got a bit too close for Jasper's taste, and found its eye torn out of its socket. It would have use as a battle trophy now.

Slowly, their forces dwindled, and Jasper took a bit of sadistic glee in slaughtering her enemies. She recalled the times she would devastate Crystal Gem strongholds during Rose's rebellion, and felt the same respect for them that she was now showing these monsters. Enemies, yes, but they clearly had a talent for combat that she prided herself in, and a passion for destruction that was only surpassed by herself.

Then she heard it. The loud steps, with a touch of the sound of a machine approaching her. She made her way towards this upcoming challenger and could hardly contain her glee at the sight of it. The monster was massive, looking about as big as she was as Malachite, and she could tell that it had the strength to go toe to toe with the fusion as well.

With a sadistic smile that would make Jack Nicholson envious, she declared "You're a big one, aren't you? That can only mean that you have huge guts, and I will and rip and tear apart those guts with my bare hands!"

She charged ahead, when suddenly, "Um, Jasper?"

"Huh?"

"Jasper!"

Suddenly she was back in the upper floor of the Crystal Gems' house. As reality returned to her, she realized that it was the half-breed talking to her.

"I know you said to never speak to you, but you were getting really creepily into that game and yelling about tearing people apart, and it's weirding everybody out."

She blinked. She hadn't even realized just how absorbed she had gotten into this game, and while she was annoyed at the half-breed for breaking her out of the satisfying experience, she decided to merely grunt and return to her attention to the game.

She wasn't about to make nice with the Crystal Gems anytime soon, in fact, she was ready to turn on them at the earliest opportunity, and would relish in their destruction, especially those traitors Lapis and Peridot. But, she found herself gaining a respect for humanity all the same. If they could turn out bloodthirsty warriors like this Doomguy, then perhaps they weren't nearly as useless as she thought. Maybe she'll stick around, if only to one day meet this Doomguy and give him the fight of her life.
