His roar was what scared me most
As we entered Diablos' dimension
Using that damned lamp.

Before the light grew
And I could see his face
He stretched his wings
And screamed.

Teeth bared and claws extended
He attacked.

The battle raged ... for hours?
Or days?
Did this dimension have time?

Finally, this demon fell
To his knees and conceded defeat.

I junctioned him then.
His power was at my command
But I did not pretend to control him.

I could feel the memories of this GF
Behind my own.

HIs hatred of humans,
The last time one had him more than two thousand years ago.
Released only at his death.

The demon that resided in me,
Kept only for the power itself.
Diablos, never unleashed,
His wings virtually chained down.

I gave in to his desire,
Allowing him to search my own memories.

I could feel rather than hear
The deep guttural growl he made.

Looking up, I saw another Geezard.

Diablos shuddered his tail,
Went back to my memories.

No, devil.
You shall not rest.

I felt his wings stretch,
Tickling the edges of my mind
Triggering memories long lost,
But locking them away a minute later.

His name called,
Summoned.
The Force rose out,
Destroyed the beast.

Then went back to sleep.
