Warm Winter's Love Chapter 1
It was a cold winter night. Dan was inside the house playing his Sky-Rim game and was winning like a boss. Just then, a knock was heard on the door. Dan paused the game and lazily walked over to the door and opened it. Phil.
" Hey Phil, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? " Dan asked when he saw Phil bunched up, trying to keep warm.
" I-I just thought I'd c-come over..." he muttered, but loud enough for Dan to hear the sorrow in his voice.
" What's wrong, mate? " Dan concernly asked. Phil, I hate it when your upset. It makes my heart break to see you cry...
" Girlfriend b-b-broke up with me... " he said, his voice shaky...tears then stollled down his cheeks.
Dan put his hand on Phils shoulder..." Hey, don't cry over some girl...you're too good for her and she was out of her mind to break up with you... " Dan said compassionatly. For Dan, was in love with Phil...
" Thanks man.. " Phil said, his voice gaining it's hapiness again.
" No problem.. " Dan said and let Phil inside. After he sat Phil down, he went into the kitchen and facepalmed. What in fucks sake was I thinking?! I said that like I was his girlfriend! Great, now he's gonna think I'm weird! -sigh- Why me? Why must I be so afraid to tell him my feelings? He's my fucking best friend!. Just then, Phil came in and quickly wrapped his arms around Dan before he could turn around.
" P-Phil? " he stuttered, blushing a little.
" Dan...I, uhh...I have to tell you something..." Phil said nervously.
Ugh, my heart is beating like mad! If he don't get it out soon, my nose just might bleed from blushing too much and my heart would burst from beating so hard!
" Y-yeah, Phil? " Dan asked, stuttering
" I, uhh...I like you Dan...Alot more than best friends should like each other. I wanna be with you forever! I wanna be held in your arms all night long! " he said quickly and tried to hide his blushing by burying his face in Dan's back.
" P-Phil, I... " Dan began
" I get it...you don't like me the same way... " Phil turned around and started to walk, but then Dan grabbed his arm, turned him around and kissed him gently on the lips
" Phil, I DO feel the same way, I did for a long time now..I was just too afraid to tell you. When you said that, my heart jumped and I was froze in happiness. Phil, I love you and I do wanna hold you... " Dan confessed and hugged Phil tightly, his arm wrapping around his back.
Phil does like me after all...I'm...I'm so happy...Then Dan felt Phil's hands wrap around his neck, and pull him in for another round.
It was the best moment of their lives...

That night, they boys played Sky-Rim and watched horror movies before falling asleep on the couch, with Phil's head resting peacefully on Dan's shoulder.
Maybe Winter wasn't so bad after all...for this faithful Winter's night brought them together finally. They slept they peacefully, in each other's embrace. Finally...they were together...and thatmade them both happy.
