Fire nation royal palace
Fire lord Ozai enters a room filled with fire nation royal guard and walks up to a man in dark red robes a helmet with dragon horns on the sides.
Ozai then says 'the avatar still lives, Zuko didn't kill him in Ba Sing Se, there is more Kalo yet lives, you didn't kill him as you assumed'.
The man in red doesn't even turn to face Ozai having his back to him there the man yells out 'nooooo'.
Ozai then says to him 'every day the comet comes closer victory is all but assured, our alliance is finished, I have no need of you'. Ozai turns to leave the room.
The man then says to the fire lord 'you have no need of me fire lord Ozai?'
Ozai smirks and says to him proudly 'I have never needed you'.
The man then says with his back still turned to the fire lord 'prove that you don't need me Ozai, strike me down, I dare you to try'.
Ozai then creates a fire ball and turns to attack the man but then the man turns around dressed in full armour and with a dragon mask covering his face he shoots lighting at the fire lord and his royal guards.
The royal guards are all killed while Ozai is on the ground unconscious he slowly gets back to his feet the man with his back turned to him again.
Ozai with fire daggers in his hands runs at the man but after a few seconds he is forced to his knees the man still with his back turned then says to the fire lord 'you do need me Ozai, without me you wouldn't be fire lord right now, without me your daughter would have discovered the truth about her great grandfather long ago, so you do need me fire lord don't ever forget it, and as for Kalo send Azula after him tell her to kill him on sight'.
Ozai then gets back on his feet and leaves the room without saying a word to the man.
Fire nation a few miles away from the royal palace
A man training in the fields with green flames dancing around him stopped as he sees fire nation airships move on to the west the man then thought to himself "my job just got a lot harder". But then the man noticed a messenger hawk coming towards him.
He grabbed the letter from the bird and saw that the letter was from his uncle with bad news apparently his sister was arrested for treason against the fire nation.
He knew he had to get Mai out of the Boiling Rock but how then it hit him. "Its time I went to see an old friend". The man then withdrew a white lotus tile from his pocket and smiled as he looked at it.
The western air temple
Katara walked around the air temple trying to find Zuko to thank for getting her father and Suki out of the boiling rock prison.
She then found Zuko in the courtyard meditating she walked up to him slowly and said 'zuko, I want to thank you for what did getting my father out of the boiling rock, so thanks'.
Zuko then said 'your welcome Katara, but I fear our fight is going to get a lot more difficult'.
The waterbender looked at Zuko and confused and replied 'why do you think that Zuko'.
The prince then said 'Mai helped us escape the boiling rock but I saw Ty lee and my sister arrest her, her brother will most likely break her out, then come here to kill me for letting her get arrested'.
Katara then said 'he would have to get past us before he can kill you'.
Zuko then said 'you don't understand Katara, Kalo is a master firebender with green flames instead of normal orange, and green flames are twice as powerful as blue flames'.
Katara then said 'so hes more powerful then Azula?'
Zuko nodded katara then asked Zuko 'is he for the war or against it?'
Zuko then replied 'hes against the war, but he cares greatly for his sister, if he had to kill Aang to save Mai's life, he would kill Aang in an instant'.
Katara then looked over at the rest of their group who were eating dinner and laughing at one of Sokka's jokes
Katara then said 'should we tell the others about this potential threat?'
Zuko just shook his head and then the two of them watched the sun set.
Fire nation bar
Kalo then said to the old man 'those who do can always find a friend'. He was then escorted to the meeting place and he was then face to face with his old general the dragon of the west.
Iroh then said to Kalo 'what do you want Kalo?'. Kalo then said 'I need papers of a new guard being assigned to the boiling rock prison, im going to break my sister out'.
Iroh then replied 'very well Kalo, but it will take a few hours'.
Kalo then left the room and went outside as he saw the sun set over the valley he said 'don't worry sister, I am coming to get you out and when I do Ozai is going to regret that ever met me'.
Fire nation royal palace
Azula bowed in front of her father as she approached the throne her father sat on Ozai then said 'Azula, I want you to find Kalo and kill him, make sure he doesn't get his sister out of the boiling rock, and if hr does get his sister out of the boiling rock, make sure that he doesn't meet up with the avatar'.
Azula then replied 'yes father' and then she left the royal palace to begin her mission.
The boiling rock the next day
Kalo walked through the cell blocks trying to find the maximum security area when he saw mai's old childhood friend Ty Lee go by walking on her hands. He then followed her to a cell which had 3 guards in front of it.
Kalo then thought to himself "they must have Mai in there, I will get her out of here tonight". Later that night Kalo walked back to that cell and after he quickly took out the guards with some quick punches he took off his helmet and entered the cell.
As he entered the cell his younger sister looked up at him and she smiled when she realised who it was 'Kalo, what are you doing here?'
Kalo smiled then replied 'what do think im dong here Mai, I am getting you out of here'. He then gave his sister her daggers after he found them earlier in his search then he opened the cell door and the two of them ran to the gondola.
When they got they saw Ty Lee waiting for them with some guards. The acrobat the jumped into the air to attack Kalo dodged the attack then grabbed Ty Lee by the throat and snapped her neck then he threw her body into the boiling lake below.
After Mai dealt with the prison guards the two of them got on the gondola and escaped from the boiling rock. With the prison far from their site Mai then said to Kalo 'so where are we going now Kalo?'.
Kalo looked ahead and said to his sister 'the western air temple, that's were Zuko will be, and I want to make him regret breaking your heart and help the avatar defeat Ozai'.
Fire nation Kalo's manor
Azula entered the manor hoping to find Kalo but all she found was a note on Kalo's bed saying the cause of the war and her heritage is kept secret by the fire sages in the dragon catacombs.
Curious about this letter Azula decided she was going to find the secret hoping it would lead her to Kalo.
Fire nation royal palace
The man then thought to himself "Azula is close to learning the truth about her heritage, Ozai better have Kalo killed soon, or the deal is off".
