Hello! This is my first Mortal Instruments fanfiction. Yes I know insert your OC fanfictions are not that creative but I wanted to make one anyway. At this point I'm not too sure where I'll be going with this. I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep Clary and Simon in this but I figured I should so my OC wasn't usurping them. This is sort of a filler chapter. More to come with more detail. I might completely change the story. Let me know what you think.
I do not own the Mortal Instruments, it belongs to Cassie Clare. I do own Erin, however.
Erin Lee Blithe wasn't sure what she was doing inside the club Pandemonium. Something just drew her to the packed club. Usually she would spend her evenings in a library or bookstore but tonight she passed by this club, saw a cute blue-haired boy and couldn't help but want to enter. To talk to the boy, ask for his number.
When the blue-haired boy looked right at her and winked, she felt her heart jump. She smiled back at him warmly. He started towards her and she started thinking of what he might say. Maybe he would ask for her number? She scoffed at that thought. She was dressed plainly, a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and scuffed combat boots. Her blonde hair was a mess around her shoulders.
Suddenly a curvy girl with long black hair passed by him, stealing his attention away from Erin. Damn, she thought bitterly, they always like the curvy ones. If Jinx were here right now she'd probably tell Erin that he wasn't worth it or something along those lines.
She saw the dark haired girl lead blue boy into a back room . Erin didn't want to think about what they would be doing back there. Then she saw two boys follow them into the room. They both had what looked like weapons.
Erin almost felt tempted to follow them.
A tiny redhead rushed toward the door as well. Erin recognized the girl as someone she went to school with, Clary. A pretty nice girl except she didn't talk to anyone other than her best friend Simon and his band mates.
Against her better judgement, Erin followed them, more so to make sure Clary wouldn't get hurt then for the blue haired boy.
Pushing through the crowd she finally made it to the door. She pushed it open as slowly and quietly as she could and slid through the small crack she made. The sight before her almost made her scream. Almost.
A blonde was wrestling across the floor with the blue haired boy. What shocked Erin the most was the the blue-haired boy now had a distorted face, and sharp claw-like fingers. The blonde quickly over powered the other boy and stabbed him in the chest.
The blue-haired boy, or whatever he was, started to convulse. A thick black substance oozed from his body as it shrunk away into nothingness. Erin knew what he was now. A demon. Jinx had told her stories about demons before but she never believed her.
Maybe she should have listened more, Jinx wasn't human.
Clary said something to the blonde and his two companions, the dark haired girl who lead the demon into the room, and a boy with black hair and blue eyes who must be related to the girl somehow. Erin was too far away and too lost in her thoughts to hear the conversation.
The blonde looked like he was going to advance on Clary. Erin let out a shriek. Four heads snapped to her direction.
"Great," he blonde said. He had beautiful golden eyes, "how many people can see us?"
