Prologue

4:45 a.m. (2 days after Chapter 20 of D.O.C. )

"Why did you ask me to come here?" Quinn asked, not really annoyed, just curious. He stood in the middle of the backyard plain of Thierry's mansion, arms crossed and a stern, stoic look. It was nighttime, crickets from miles away can be heard. While Quinn stared at the moon, Galen stood a few inches away from him, staring at the moon as well.

Galen had asked Quinn to meet him outside; he needed advice and a good idea. "I need to ask a question. It is ok if you feel you don't want to answer."

"Just spill it Galen," Quinn said annoyed. It was late. It was cold. He just wanted to lie down in his bed with his Rashel next to him.

"How… uh… how did you propose to Rashel?" Galen asked in embarrassment. Quinn, still not looking at Galen, cocked an eyebrow.

"Oh? And why would you want to know that?" Quinn asked back. The moon reflected in Galen's eyes, and he smiled.

"I want to ask Keller to marry me."

Quinn did nothing but smile and said, "Okay, let's make this proposal happen."

10:00 a.m.

Iliana brought Timmy and Alex, the two children she was watching as their babysitter, in her room. She had organized the books she was going to read to read to them and stocked the shelves with baby toys. Timmy immediately started playing with the red and green building blocks to put up his show, while his newly found apprentice Alex, the witch baby, sat next to him and watched.

It's almost time Alex… Timmy said to his apprentice with his telepathy. We just have to be patient for a little while longer…

Alex was ready for his revenge on Galen for taking Kee-Kee away, but he'd always obey Master Timmy.

Their plan was finished. While Iliana asked if they wanted to read Green Eggs and Ham or Sam I Am, Timmy had his thoughts of killing Quinn and Alex had his thoughts of killing Galen.

The mansion was quiet all day. People were a little worried that Jez and Morgead had been gone for three days, but both the silence and worries were broken in a minute. Jez and Morgead returned with some news. Poppy was the first one to find out what that news was. She ran all over the mansion, walked in every room, and screamed in every corner the same thing over and over.

"JEZ AND MORGEAD ELOPED! JEZ AND MORGEAD ELOPED!"
