Warnings: This is Touya/N, to follow up the little twisted love triangle thing I have going for these boys.

A/N: The second part of the series, sequel to but he never speaks, loosely related to The Third Triad and I'm not sure it's good enough. Review and tell me.

He looks up at the ceiling, his hair falling over and obscuring his eyes, listening to the sound of the pouring rain. He feels worn out from his waking dream – the one which had him gasping awake to a fading vision of green hair and red lips, slowly grinding down with one hand wrapped around his cock, leaning over to kiss him clutching his hair and neck and letting go.

They must have all returned home by now, all those little kids who were at the Celestial Tower today, following Touya around as he trained.

He thinks of the burn scar left over after Audino had healed it and N's fingers brushing over it. The skin at the back of his neck tingles.

He rolls over onto his side, and clutches the sheet. He had broken away like he was shocked into silence after he had realized what he was doing, hand over the mouth that was still red, so red, oh god, so red from his kiss. But he had been so different a moment ago, he had clutched his hand tighter and looked up at the high ceiling of the third floor, the Elgyem flocking to him and shining like miniature stars around him as he smiled inexplicably. Touya's star.

"I don't understand, sometimes," he had confessed in a whisper. "How can they be so happy? Coexisting with them? Perhaps it's the fact that they are not confined in Poké Balls – not doing the bidding of their Trainer."

Touya's Lampent had floated up and butted him in the head, and Touya had almost laughed at the surprised expression on his face. Almost. Before suddenly letting out a small scream because Swarovski had decided to practice his Will-o-Wisp and it had hit the back of his neck.

"Ouch!"

"Let me see that," N demanded, lifting up Touya's hair, and Touya had flushed, suddenly feeling bare without his jacket to conceal it. His Audino had let herself out of her Ball and proceeded to use Heal Pulse on him. N had stared at her, like he was trying so hard to solve something

"You're the one I don't understand," he had finally said, fingers brushing over Touya's scar. Touya had shivered at the touch.

"But I'm a variable in the equation," he had replied, knowing that N would not react, that he never did, no matter what.

"Perhaps," N had allowed, his green hair and eyes glowing fluorescent under the light of the Litwick scattered over the walls, turning to Touya. "Or maybe…you are the other constant."

He had kissed him, unable to resist, like his lips were a siren call, like he couldn't wait a second or the world would collapse to pieces.

And N had whimpered – the world had stopped spinning for that one second, coalescing in that one moment – and kissed back.

Touya turns and opens his eyes. It's still raining, and N is – he won't. He said so –

We're opposites. We can't.

He bites his lips, drawing blood, as his hard-on returns, and he tries to will it away.

Touya is not afraid of N being an unchangeable constant in his world. He's afraid of the impact it will have on N when he catches on to what Touya being a constant in his world means.

A/N: Reviewers get virtual cookies! Also, Swarovski is Touya's Lampent. The kids were celebrating Halloween in Celestial Tower, and Touya had dragged N there. THERE'S SO MUCH PLOT YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW. Oh well, at least you'll start to know when I update The Third Triad this week. Probably.
