Hello! This story was just a stupid idea I had. I apologise for the short chapter and the amount of exposition in it.
This is a fan fiction where Loki is tasked with being something like a guardian angel to a human, who just so happens to be Peter Parker. This story might mess up the canonical timeline a bit, but I'll try my best to keep it on track.
I hope you enjoy reading it!
"Loki,"
Odin's shout echoed throughout the entire castle. Guards came to escort Loki to the throne room; towards his father's wrath. They weaved through the familiar corridors quickly, not wanting to anger Odin even more. He soon made it to the large room, his father resting on the throne. Odin's singled-eyed gaze burnt with rage when he saw his son. Loki definitely messed up this time.
He knelt in front of the throne. Odin waved his hand, signalling the guards to leave. Only three people remained in the large room; Loki, his father Odin, and his brother Thor. Loki knew that he had a slim chance of talking his way out of this, but he attempted it anyways.
"Let me just say that- "
"No amount of chatter is going to get you out of this." Odin stated, cutting Loki off.
"If you would hear me out for a minute!" Loki spoke with a louder voice.
"That is enough, Loki." Odin stood up, startling both Thor and Loki. They had never seen their father this mad before. Odin took a few deep breaths before sitting back down on his throne.
"What you have done has no excuse, and I cannot leave you unpunished." Odin explained. "I will be sending you to Earth."
That putrid dirt planet. It was filled with what Loki considered an inferior species. They only lived for about 100 years, less if they are idiots, which most of them seem to be.
"There you will look after a human until their death."
Loki stood up in protest.
"Look after a human?" He asked. He could never see himself bond with one, let alone look after one throughout their life.
"Yes, you will be looking after a human." Odin replied.
"And you have to try your best to make sure that they don't die." Thor added. Loki glared at his brother, always his father's favourite son.
"With all due respect, father, I don't see why you would want me to waste a century of my life looking after a creature that doesn't even know what an Asgardian is." Loki interjected.
"Why I'm making you do this is not for you to know. What you do need to know is that if you fail, you will have something worse happen to you. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, father." Loki grumbled in reply.
"Good," Odin looked towards Thor, "Thor, I expect that you will be able to escort Loki, I have other business to attend to."
Thor nodded and walked away from the throne towards Loki, a big grin appearing on his face.
"I've already met the parents of the child you're looking after; you're going to love them."

So that's the first chapter!
I have an idea on what Loki did, but I'm not sure whether or not to mention it in the story. You can theorise if you want.
Get ready for a young Peter next chapter!
