The Life of the McDoods
In Whoville, there was much to do. Today, the new mayor is elected. His name ... Ned McDood.
In a small house on the outskirts of Whoville lived the 20-year-old Ned and his family. He had 20 sisters and 3 younger brothers.
Ned was in his room and prepared for the most important day in his life before. "Now I'll finally mayor exactly as it did Dad" thought Ned as he dressed. He was wearing a blue vest with a white tie.
When he went down, his father Jo McDood waiting for him. Beside him was his wife Marie McDood. "I'm so proud of you, son." he said, and hug Ned. "Yes Dad, it's just a title." said Ned. "Only a title? It is very important for our family. You know the story about our ancestors." said his mother. "Yes mother." Ned said a little worried. He did not want to be mayor. He loved music, but as is tradition, he had become mayor. "Come now Ned, we have to go." said his father. "I'm coming," said Ned, and went to him.
On the way to his father's office Ned was a little worried. What should he do? He did not want to be a mayor.
In his father's office Ned has looked. "It will soon be all yours, son," said Jo McDood. "Yes, Dad. All this will be mine and Dad can I ask you something?" asked Ned worried. "Yes, of course, my son." said his father. "What would happen if I do not become the mayor?" asked Ned. "That would be terrible. 'You are my older son you have to be Mayor!" cried his father to him. Ned winced. Together he went with his father on the balcony. All Whoville is at the ceremony here.
Then his father went ahead and said: "Dear citizens of Whoville, it is a great pleasure to me to appoint the new mayor of Whoville." Ned was going to his father. "My son Ned McDood." He gave his son the mayor of Arms and made it off his tie. The citizens cheered. "Thank you for the title. I promise you I will treat Whoville good." Ned said something sad.
The day passed quickly for Ned. He was admitted exhibits in his new life.
Since then, five years have passed. Ned's parents are some day disappeared without a trace. It has been discovered after a few weeks the bodies.
