He was running along the roads of San Francisco. Away from the terrible creature: waiting behind him. A creature so foul and so ancient not even he knew the name. The creature had sprung out from the branches of a tree. So disgusting he had to run. He didn't know where to turn. So he kept going. Away from the monster, and he didn't know how long he could keep this up. The fowl beast was gaining on him. He had nothing to do but run, fight, or hide. He was alone.
Then he saw it. The entrance to: the Underworld. He had made it to safety. He gathered all his energy and focused it on getting to the door. He saw Charon.
"I need to get in there, NOW!" He panted.
"Yes Sir." He replied sarcastically.
Nico glared at the being. Then strode onto the boat and awaited the ride to his domain. His: Home.
The ferry started up. 'It's about time' he thought, irritated.
When they got there he pet Cerberus's foot and pushed his way into the room where they judged people on how they acted in there lives.
"Father," I said, "What was that… well thing that was chasing me?"
"Nico, not even I remember. If I did I would most likely wish I didn't remember."
