Draco and Ginny

"The love that could never be"

It was Ginny Weasly's first year and Draco Malfoy's second year when there eyes first met, on the way to Hogwarts on the Hogwarts Express. Draco was once again making fun of Harry Potter, the boy who lived, the boy who couldn't go anywhere without making the front page of the Daily Prophet.

"Leave him alone Malfoy!", proclaimed Ron, Harry's annoying friend.

"What was that, Weasly? Still hanging out with the Mud blood I see."

That's when he noticed her, right next to Hermione was the most gorgeous girl he had ever seen, the only thing wrong was that she had red hair, freckles, and tattered used robes and books. SHE WAS A WEASLY! But to Draco that didn't matter it was love at first site.

" uh uh um hi Ginny, isn't it? Hi I'm Draco Malfoy." Was the only things he could seem to stutter out. He was lost in her eyes, her big beautiful blue eyes.

But no, he couldn't be in love with her, she was a Weasly, her dad liked muggles and mud bloods and didn't think that being a pure blood meant being of a higher status in the wizarding world. No it could not be love!

So Draco went back to his compartment with Crabbe and Goyle. The candy trolly came by and he couldn't help but send a chocolate frog back to Ginny, of course he said from a secret friend.

They finally arrived at the school, which Draco had been looking forward to ever since the last school year ended, his favorite thing to do was have a little fun with the first years.

Half the school year had already passed he had care of magical creatures with Ginny but could never seem to stop staring at her so of course he didn't have one of the best grades in the class.

2/3 of the year had gone by and Draco was going out with the coolest girl in school, now I know what your thinking but no it was not Ginny, it was Hermione. What she saw in him nobody knew maybe he put a spell on her . It didn't last very long though, they were caught making out after school and Hermione got detention, then it was over. Once Ginny saw that Hermione was going out with him she decided he must be okay, so the second they broke up she went right up and asked him out.

They were inseparable either talking or kissing whenever they were ever alone, but when they were with their own groups they stayed as far away from each other as magically possible.

It was Dracos 7th year and they still had not told anybody that they were going out. The last day of Dracos school days had come. It was about 3:00pm when Draco was going to "POP" the question. He pulled out the ring and asked Ginny, "will you marry me?" and her reply was "no, we have to end it I am tired of hiding things from everybody and keeping secrets from my family, I'm not sure why you cannot see that we were never meant to be. I'm sorry but you were just a school fling to me."

Dracos heart shattered to a million pieces and he swore to himself that he would never love again.

19 years later: Draco Malfoy was walking in Hogsmeade and who should he see in the distance but Ginny Weasly, his first love, but who was she with and who were those kids next to her? He walked and found the answer, one he had long been dreading, Ginny Weasly was no more she had moved on and become Ginny Potter they had three kids: Lily, James and Albus-Severous. Ya he was married to Pansy but his one true love had left him forever and he didn't ever think he could get over that.
