(Narrators POV)
Doc, warren, Murphy, and Addy sat near the van while watching 10k and Cassandra who were far enough away they looked like black shadows. after some time passes they start off towards the van as they get closer the rest of the group notices that they are keeping their distance from one another, "looks like they had another fight." Warren said seemingly unsurprised. Cassandra storm of to the van and got in to sit alone and more importantly get away from 10k. " I hope I never have to see you again!" She shouted before getting in. Warren walked over to 10k "If you don't feel-" Warren said before she was interrupted by 10k "I'll go." 10k said with evident anger and a hint of sadness in his voice. 10 minutes later Doc, Addy, and 10k went out to the small town nearby to look for food and water.
(Addy's POV)
Me and 10k started to search for medical supplies in a small clinic we found, it has a pharmacy connected to it, we decided to first try are luck in the pharmacy. It's obvious that 10k isn't focused and isn't him self, I started to hear some small cries coming from behind a shelf, I slowly approached to she 10k sitting on the ground with his knees to his chest, "Hey are alright?" I asked kneeling beside him not knowing what else to say. " y-yeah I'm good" he said said trying to make his voice sound more confidant. "Look 10k, i know you're not fine you were just-" I say before 10k cut me off yelling "Zs" me and 10k started fighting off the Zs, as 10k was pinned to a shelf by a Z, he pushed the z off him but it grabbed his sniped pulling him down with it, I watched in horror as the shelf started to fall onto 10k as he killed the Z "10k LOOK OUT!!" I screamed as the shelf fell on him, I ran over to help him up but the Z started crowding around him, luckily he was able to grab his sniper and started shouting the one that were close. "Doc get in here now!" I shouted. Doc came running in asking what's wrong then noticed 10k and all the Zs "Don't worry kid, we'll get you get you out of here" Doc said as 10k struggles trying to get out. "Just go leave me theres to many" 10k said "we won't leave you here to die!" I screamed at him "he's right Addy we can't save him there's to many we'll all get killed" Doc said "Get out of here now!" 10k yelled "No I'm not just going to leave you!" I yelled as Doc started to pulling me out the pharmacy. As we watch 10k struggle to get up and shoot a few Zs here and there I broke through Docs grasp and ran to the door before he grabbed me again leading me away I turned back and saw the Zs piled around the shelf where 10k was stuck "Wait Doc we have to mercy him!" I cried "there's no time we have to go before we get over run as well" Doc said
(Cassandra's POV) I sat in the van regretting what I had said after hearing 10k leave with Doc and Addy "what if he doesn't come back" I said "no he'll come back it's 10k he's saved us all a billion times, he's going to fine" I said.
I heard footsteps walking u pro our camp "thank god they're back" I thought to myself, I heard addy whisper something to Warren and Warren whisper something back. I jumped out the van to run up and hug 10k and apologize for what I said before he left. "Where's 10k?" I asked, the 3 of them looked at me "Well where is he?" I asked again, addy came up to me and gave me a hug "I'm sorry, he didn't make it" Addy said. My heart dropped, "No, no you're joking, just trying to make me feel bad!" I yelled "Cassandra I'm sorry" she said with a tear rolling down her check, "we have to bury him" I cried "so we'll go out tomorrow and get his body" doc replied "Ok" I said with tears rolling down my checks, "careful what you wish for" I whispered to my self
