The Rise of Meta Knight

Ever wonder how Meta Knight came to be? Or how rich he is-building the Halberd was NOT cheap. And his weapon and cape, even mask-where did he aquire them? This is the story chronicling the birth, life and times of the great and mysterious...Meta Knight!

Chapter 1: A Balluum is Born

Every 420 years, during the "Rain of Stars," a Balluum of great power is born. Not only of great power, but one that is destined to protect the entire universe from harm and, sometimes, complete annihilation.

I know, I know, of course you are thinking, "but WHAT in the Great Black Pond of Donk Star is a Balluum?" Well, Balluums are a race of small, nearly-perfectly circular beings who have the ability to suck up things (with Black Hole force, mind you) and consume them. The object (or being) may be hundreds of times their size, and weigh tons; but if this object is within twenty feet of a Balluum, it can be inhaled, consumed, and sometimes have it's traits and abilities absorbed by the Balluum. Balluums are also the only creatures in the universe that can consume food literally non-stop, even inedible objects-no one knows where it all ends up. Balluums also come in sub-species with different traits, like hands, fingers, thumbs, ears, bigger eyes, smaller bodies, stronger suction, etc. etc.

But enough about that. This story is about one Balluum in particular; a Balluum that would become known as one of the most unique and powerful Balluums to ever exist. This Balluum would be the only one born during the 1000th "Rain of Stars" event; this Balluum would also become one of only five of his kind left in the universe.

This Balluum would become known someday as the "The Golden Swordsman of Darkness." This Balluum is Meta Knight, and this is his story.
