This fic idea occurred to me after a full day of reading Mary Sues.  This is not one.  This is a monologue from an existing entity.  If you finish it and absolutely cannot figure out who the speaker is, you need to improve your grasp of the obvious.  Though I must say, the similarity between this character and some Mary Sues is quite spooky.

I am beautiful, aren't I.

Even if you ignore the charms that come with me and just look at me from a form perspective, I am beautiful.  Such an understated, perfect grace.  And you know I would fit up against your skin as though I had grown out of it.  As though I had been designed for you.

I sit at the Council of Elrond, and I listen to the words of Olórin.  I want to go on this quest.  Yes.  Let us go into the heart of Mordor together.  I am not afraid.  I will give you strength.  I will guard you from peril.  I will be your companion, and counsel your thoughts when the road grows treacherous.  But we must both go.  We need each other, surely you can see that.  I improve you.  I complete you.  We will go to Mordor.

The things we could do, you and I! … you must go with me into the realm of the Lord of Darkness, but I am beautiful.  I will sing to entrance your dreams.  I will be everything you crave.  I will fill the loneliness of your heart.  You will never be alone.

Disclaimer: I do not own Arda, or any of the books about it.  That's ALLLL Tolkien.  Though I do have temporary custody of Elrond and Morgoth, and if they wake me up fighting because Morgoth used the last of the Herbal Essences again, I'm going to scream and throw things.
