Hello everyone, I'm ArcOfNAMC, and welcome to a new fic! This will be a mass - crossover fanfic, centered around interuniversal shenanigans! So, read if you want, and enjoy this first, prologue-ish chapter!
Cesar was bored. That much could be said. After the whole thing with the Shard, the different worlds, those two heroes that seemed to be in every world, and saving the universe, nothing was exciting anymore. He'd already seen everything. Right now, he was just sat on a bed. He knew it had been provided for one of the three Guardians by one of the other Creation Forces, but since noone knew which beds where whose yet, he just picked one and sat on it. And that's where he'd been for the last two hours, facing a chalkboard on a wall, sat on a bed.
"...and mabye that could be there..." he muttered, as he stuck another pin in the board.
More on the board, it currently had on it:
Multiple strings,
A picture of what looked like a universe,
A picture of an odd, wrist-mounted device,
A picture of a Pikachu,
A picture of a Raposa,
A picture of Flowey The Flower,
And various notes.
The pin he had just stuck on connected the device, the universe, and the Pikachu.
"It makes too much sense." He said. "If I were to just go get the universal wall rift warper, I could actually see something new." So that's what the board was about, and what the device was. Anyway, Cesar rushed off the bed, into the vault-type thing, and picked up...
The wrist-mounted device from the board.
"I should probably take the power limiter and redistributed too." He muttered to himself, while searching for another device. "My creative and defensive capabilities are amazing, but unless I use that device to sacrifice some of those temporarily, I can't fight effectively at all."
Once he had found the device he was looking for, he rushed back to the bed, pulled a note off the board, and put it on the bed, after which he rushed off to a hidden bit of the base-type thing.
"Going somewhere won't be back for quite a while" The note said.
"This is it." He said, while standing in the center of the hidden area. "I'm off to another universe."
And with that he activate the wrist device, and stepped through the resulting rift, quickly closing it afterwards. Off for a journey around the multiverse.
But there's a funny thing about multiverses, you see. You can never quite tell which one you're in. This multi-universal story could be taking place in any number of multiverses. It could even be taking place in the multiverse you're in right now...
