Destruction was beheld in the once peaceful city, death, destruction and Chaos all combined and conquered into one little pendent. The city was the safest place to hide such a thing so the Lord of Death and his Hunters would never find it, one teenager held all of the worlds hope in the palm of her hand, one 17 year old.
A slender young teenager walked down the dimly lit street, her long raven colored hair flowed beside her as her beautiful blue eyes looked at the city buildings. The moonlight arose from a cloud making the street clearer to see. She wore a black corset with jeans. But what was strange about her was a black stone pendent that hung around her neck, so strange it was when it glowed in the bitter night. Looking at the moon Faith watched the bright lights from the building.
Walking into a alleyway Faith heard something, a tiny rock moving from above her, someone was watching her, she sensed that it was someone un earthly, someone that she knew from her unclear past.
Two silver eyes looked down on Faith, a young fallen angel looked at her carefully, and his spiky black hair flowed in the wind, whilst a small grey tattoo on his arm glowed with the moonlight. He wore a ripped singlet with baggy pants. Two grey angels like wings flapped beside him trying to hold his balance. Leo was waiting for her.
Faith shivered, she could sense someone but couldn't see them, she was of course a black mage and had the gift of black magic and ice magic, but she was just another mere human. 'Yes a Human' she thought holding her pendent trying to work out what the strange someone was. It then clicked; she looked up and sighted the man, well fallen angel looking at her, "Great" she whispered her pendent glowing brightly with anguish.
Leo flapped his great wings and jumped down joining Faith, his wings folded into his back, he looked like a normal 21 year old now. Faith looked shocked, 'Who was this man' she thought staring at Leo.
"Hi" Leo said looking at her; a smile crossed his pale lips.
"Excuse but who are you or should I say what you are" she said to him lighting a cigarette.
"Oh I knew you wouldn't remember me" he said softly, "My name is Leo your personal assistant in the quest you are involved in, oh and I am a fallen angel" he said adding the little detail with another wink.
"Remember you" she said putting her hand on her dagger's hilt, "My name is......."
"Faith yeah I knew that" he said finishing her sentence for her.
