#1: Every night, Katniss slept in Peeta's arms, loving the warmth and protection they gave. She also loved waking up to Peeta kissing her. On the lips, cheek, neck, top of her head. Anywhere, a blossom of warmth formed. She loved those sweet moments that Peeta and her shared.
#2: Katniss' favorite breakfast was when Peeta baked cheese bread. She loved waking up, though he wasn't there, smelling the dough baking in the oven. And when she went downstairs, cuddling into him with his arms around her, savoring the flavor of the delicacy.
#3: Every year, when Christmas time came, Katniss and Peeta, later Willow and Rye, would go out into the woods of district 12 and pick out a tree together. Katniss-and Willow-when she was old enough- always ended up shooting something out of the tree after Peeta chopped it down. One year it was a squirrel, another a quail, and one year a opossum. Then they dragged it home through the snow while they decorated it while drinking hot chocolate and watching Christmas movies.
This one is if the war and hunger games had never existed.
#4: On Katniss' birthday, when they were still dating, Peeta was obsessed with getting her the perfect gift. He called Finnick, Haymitch, even Gale, to see what they got her, so he doesn't duplicate gifts then he finally found the perfect present. On Katniss' birthday, he made a magnificent cake, and cut her a slice. Inside she found a ring box. Peeta said, "Katniss Everdeen, my love, my life, will you marry me?"
