Longing for summer's warm embrace
It seemed almost everyone was out today. It seemed one had found a warm, sunny paradise and most were rather tired of The World That Never Was. Why, the constant darkness, the pests that were heartless…quite very tiresome really. It seemed the youngest of the bunch were seen playing happily in the sand, while others, working with a flimsy table, would try a hand at a few card games. It seemed Axel had even dragged Saix along- though it seemed the only thing he wished to do was supervise and not get into the mess of tomfoolery. There was spots of seasalt ice cream and the pastel white that was of sunscreen. Some of the others seemed to be doing as they wish, this even including Larxene, who was seen sunbathing under the warm heat, reading something or another and enjoying some sweets before they decided to melt. There was melodious music and the sound of small crashes of waves, but other than this, it only seemed it was just the thirteen- why, seeing as they didn't dare drag the Superior along. There was soft padding of feet before Larxene herself only looked over up and see the melodious nocturne, Demyx, standing beside her tanning chair. She glared at him with vibrant cyan hues. "What do you want, Demyx? Bug off. Go play with the children of the organization or something." Demyx didn't seem to like this all that well, but seemed to give her a smile. "You are grumpy on a day off? Jeez, you need to cool off. Why, do you want some help to the shoreline, 'your highness'?" The nymph scowled at him, baring her white teeth. "Why you no good brat! I should shock you into oblivion for that!" She growled with a snarl. "So…..is this a maybe?" "I'll give you three seconds to disappear before I take you by your neck, gut you, and leave you for the buzzards!" At the sound of fighting, obscene for a vacation, is seemed Axel, Marluxia, and Saix were on the situation as both glared each other down. As Axel took a hold of Demyx's shoulder, he chuckled softly. "Okay…I think that's plenty of that now, don't you agree?" Larxene snarled as Marluxia took one of Larxene's arms, firm, but gentle enough not to cause pain as Saix stood in between the four. "Number nine….twelve….I am already displeased with the circumstance of being out here, do not make me not only make us all return where we belong, but also be sure that a referral will be made with the Superior. Am I clear on this?" Demyx at the thought of this seemed to swallow, as he quickly turned Axel and himself around. "Right uh, Axel, let's go see what Roxas, Xion and Namine are up to, okay? Sounds good to me." And hurried from the situation. So with this it left Saix and Marluxia gazing down at the hard-to-tame savage nymph. With a snarl, she gripped her book tightly in her hands in-so white could be seen by the knuckles. "Fine, whatever. Just let me go before I bring weapons into the equation." It seemed, after this though, that all went pretty smoothly after words, and well into a beautiful night with campfire, and music, as they all talked, at least for the more part and watched as fireflies danced above their heads, before they knowingly had to disappear back into the depths of the eternal night that was The World That Never Was.
