King of Rohan
This poem is from the POV of Théoden, King of Rohan.
I think it's a sonnet, but I'm not sure. :)
The veil has been removed
My eyes are free again
And what I see before me
Shocks me to no end
Long have I been dorment
But now awake am I
To find my son is dead
Surely this is a lie
Now I see the suffering
Now I see the pain
There is danger in leaving
But it is deadly to remain
From Edoras we go
To live or die we have yet to know
