Prologue-10 years before
Katniss` POV
"Katniss,Katniss come on let's go" I heard my friends yell.
"What were you thinking about now Kat ?" My friend Johanna asked me.
"About that boy" I said while I motion over to a cute boy with curly dirty blond hair and blue eyes.
"Peeta" my group of friends yell
"You know what Kat,his mom doesn't like us because we're from the Seams" my other friend,Delly said.
"Hey guys,I have an idea" Jo tells the group.
"Kat,go over to talk to Peeta" Jo commands me.
"What,are you crazy Jo he doesn't even know me that well" I screamed.
My scream must've been pretty loud enough for all the kids on the playground stare at me like I'm a crazy person.
"Um I'll be right back" I said while running away from my group.
I ran until I ran out of breath,as soon as I started jogging I ran into someone.
It was...Peeta.
"I'm sorry,um Katniss" Peeta shyly said.
"No,I'm sorry,it was my fault" I tried to convince him.
"Um,I heard what your friends said about me" he quickly told me.
"That I like you" I nervously asked.
"Yeah,um,uh,I like you too" he quietly told me.
"Really" I said in disbelief.
"Yeah" he said while he looked me in the eye.
I was glad we were behind a tree because I gave him a peck on his cheek.
After that he helped me up and took me to the nurse.
"Friends" I asked.
"Friends" he agreed.
And that was only the beginning. I will make more, but I need your reviews if you guys want me to continue.
