A.n- Song the final toast by Hawk nelson off of their 2009 album "Live life loud."
Warwickshire to Fraserville and all between
You have left us here a life full of memories
They all sat at the memorial, each had known him. Each and everyone had a tear in there eye for the boy who didn't get a second chance at life. Photographs and still frames were on the screen for all to see. Each one held a different story in this boys life. Some more then others had good and bad.
You forever changed the lives of all of us who have known you
Truth be told, this world feels cold without you
His partner in crime, his lover and his closest friends all looked for his face in the crowd to hear his voice again. See his smile and have him brighten their day. They missed him, while everyone moved on they still waited.
You gave us all a better name
So here's the final toast we raise to you, dear friend
They gathered six months later at the site where his life came to an end. Memories laid upon the ground so all remembered him. The funny one who got into trouble but would give you his shirt off his back even if it was his last one.
Good times will never be the same
And our thoughts still remain.
Liberty remembered their child, his kisses and being in his arms. Toby was thinking of the last conversation, seeing his friend realize who he truly loves. Emma and Manny thinking of all the times Jt got under their skin yet it was always for a laugh. Paige stood towards the back thinking of the little boy who helped her grow, who had an insane crush and wouldn't take no.
We'll hold you in our hearts
Forever and a day
They laid the memories, photographs to rest, but they would never forget the 17 yr old boy, no. man. That changed their lives and help them become who they are. They all loved him in some way and that would stick till their last day.
And we'll never be the same
So the last toast that we raise goes to you
So if you ever lost someone that's close to you
Ten years later they all met back to the place where life started and for one ended. They walked to his memorial garden and saw his face that would never age, a new comer stepped forward and touched his fathers face now knowing who fought for him before he was born. He looked to his mom and his adoptive parents. It made the small child cry but he always knew that some how somewhere his dad always loved him.
Waiting for the answers like spring to bloom
I hope their tears are wiped away
He watched as they grew, his son knowing truly who he was. He saw the heart break and his love find the truth from his friend. He waited and watched their whole lives he cried a tear for all the things he missed. All the pain he brought because of one mistake.
When they're at the pearly gates praying for you
You have made this world a better place
He saw them move on, say goodbye to their childhood friend but they never stopped loving him, he turned to the gates of heaven, they prayed and he heard their prayers. He walked thought the gates knowing he did all he could for his friends. He would forever walk the earth if they kept his memory alive. The memory of who James Tiberius York was.
