His hand and that girl's fitted so perfectly when their fingers intertwined; there was no need to see Vincent's cheek that was tinted with soft pink slightly, or Ada's eyes that was sparkled with loving glint.

"I love you," there Vincent said countless times, while Ada just smiled and replied, "thanks."

Ada always acted naturally in front of Vincent, when the young man played his part really well like a very talented actor.

"How are you, Ada-sama?" that was what Vincent asked her whenever they met, and Ada would always reply with, "Fine, Vincent-sama. How about you?"

After that, the young man would answered, "Pretty good, of course," although his head was kind of dizzy and his hands felt cold because of his alertness with the Vesallius lady.

Ada always fixed Vincent's hairband, whenever the ribbon was being too loose, or when it was almost released. On the other side, Vincent always felt his face got warmed when the young lady's soft fingers brushed with his nape.

"How's Elliot doing, Vincent-sama?" one day Ada asked him, but without her knowing—Vincent was got irritated when the lady was concerned about another man beside him; although he was glad when hearing the mention of his younger brother's name.

Because in his deepest heart, he silently wanted Ada to think of him only; and there was no other. Eventhough he didn't want to admit it, but it wasn't that girl who fell into his trap; but instead, it was him who got allured by the girl's childish, sincere charm.

Vincent Nightray knew that Ada Vesallius was a beautiful girl; Ada Vesallius was a smart girl; Ada Vesallius was cheerful and always smiling to him.

But that was not why he liked her.

(Because the young lady was always faithful and be there for Vincent without being bothered of who he was; and that's why Vincent fell for her, inevitably.)
