"Mmm! This tea is delicious!"
"Yeah," Vin agreed, "but it's unlike anythin' I've ever tasted before."
"What kind of herb is it?" Josiah asked. Ezra's tea tasted vaguely familiar.
JD grinned. At Ezra's nod, he told them, "It's his own special brew from the roses in his garden."
Chris' brow quirked.
"You have a garden?"
"Ah hire the local children ta tend it."
Buck chuckled. "Knew ya wouldn't get those fingernails dirty yaself, Ez."
Ezra's dignified voice smoothly cut above the erupting laughter. "Very well. Laugh at me if you so choose, but you'll not have another drop of mah brew." He smiled when silence followed.
