The Phantom Of The Opera.

He watches me in the night,

But I don't feel any fright,

How can I fear him, the one that I trust?

He moves like a ghost of me.

While I live in this fantasy,

But the silver lining is turning to rust.

He whispers of blackened dreams,

And he is not what he seems,

What will become of me in darkness?

Run from shadows of the past,

I want to be free at last,

But he has cleared my mind of lightness.

Though I do love another man,

I cannot resist his command,

I must step though the mirror of the night.

Lost in dream and his unearthly song,

Could it possibly be wrong,

To love this man who causes me fright?

Torn by love and passion alike,

I must choose before the dawn of light,

Which heart I must break to follow mine.

Broken his will and destroyed his love,

I pray that now an angel above,

Will shower this man with unearthly divine.

So leave behind the lair of music and love,

To runaway free to the world above,

Me and my sweetheart will leave it all behind.

But though I go and leave him here,

I always know he will be near,

The Phantom of the Opera is inside my mind!
