Prologue

At the age of 21, Jessica Riley was attacked and left for dead in her college room at the University of California. The suspect was never caught. Just a year later, she took her diploma – and disappeared. Her parents said she had been deeply affected by the attack and never fully recovered. As she took none of her belongings, it is assumed Jessica was abducted by her attacker.

Now, three years later, her parents are re-appealing to the public for anything that may lead to Jessica's location.

"We have accepted that she is probably dead." Her father said yesterday. "But we just want to lay our little girl to rest at last."

The California State police are actively assisting the family, though they do not think that an appeal at this time will lead them to Jessica's remains. The case remains unsolved.
