So this is my first fic ever.
And it has to be Bamon of course.
I couldn't get this idea out of my mind so I just have to grab Microsoft word and write it down. I hope you all love it.
Summary: Bonnie and Damon have been together six months after Klaus left town. Now, he comes back to Mystic Falls and in an attempt to revenge, he compels Bonnie to forget everything about Damon. Will love be stronger than compulsion?

Chapter1: Down
Dear Diary:
It's incredible. I have been with Damon for over 6 months and everything was good. I mean, we have our fights, but you know, it's me and Damon, if we don't have our fights, something bad would be happening. But they are mostly stupid stuffs. Although I'm pretty sure he does it on purpose. And maybe I do it too. We love reconciliations.
I have been also 6 months writing in here. Thanks to Elena for that. She almost pushed to write in one but her reasons are true. Good or bad, memories are important.
It's seems that after Klaus left town, for his own good, everything became better.
When Stefan returned, he and Elena fixed everything in their relationship and came back being the perfect couple they always were. Although from what Damon has said to me, they have been kind of fighting lately. They'll surely solve it soon. I mean, they are Stefan and Elena, or Stelena as Caroline likes to call them.
And well, Caroline after her jump from Matt to Tyler, she finally decided that she needed time to herself.
Tyler is dating this girl called Erica who is also a werewolf. They met and started dating pretty soon. I guess it was the connexion of being a werewolf. And of course there's the understanding.
Matt, I don't know too much about him. I heard he is living with his mother in Florida. I miss him but I'm happy that after what happened with Vicky, he's trying to fix his relationship with his mother.
Alaric, well, I pretty much know a lot of him. He and Damon are kind of BFF's. He's still a teacher by day and a vampire buddy-hunter by night. And still single.
Jeremy, well… I don't know. I thought he was dating the new girl in the school, Meredith Sulez, but he assures that they are only friends… Who knows?
And well, Klaus. He's gone. Our gang is still in alert on him but he seems to not come back to Mystic Falls. Maybe he is dead. I hope so.
But let's go back to the beginning, me and Damon.
Who would have known? I mean me and him? Totally unexpected. But things worked out somehow.
Bonnie stopped writing when she felt a cold air brushing beneath her chest.
She felt darkness. Evil.
Something bad. She couldn't describe it but it was bad.
Her first thought was Klaus. It has to be him.
"What's on that witchy mind of yours?" she heard the voice of his boyfriend suddenly behind her. It was almost epic how his presence made the cold room became warm in a split of seconds.
"I just… Ok, don't chill out but… I had this bad presentiment" she clears out. She didn't mean to worry him but she couldn't keep secrets from him.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course I am. I wouldn't joke with something like this"
"I'm sorry, ok?" he said walking closer to Bonnie. "I'm just confused. We haven't seen anything bad in town after Klaus left"
"That doesn't mean he's never coming back. You know he's unpredictable" Bonnie exclaimed sitting in her bed with her face down "I just have this bad feeling about it. I don't know why but it feels not bad in a way of death. It's kind of a bad feeling about me" she felt how Damon sat besides her wrapping his arms around her hugging her in a comforting way.
"You have nothing to worry about. I would never let anything happens to you. Never" he kisses her head "I rather be dead than see you hurt"
"Seeing you hurt is a bad feeling for me. I don't know what this stupid feeling means but please, be careful" Bonnie pulled herself out of the embrace trying to catch Damon's attention. She looked at those blue eyes that showed concern and love and she felt better. The bad feeling was still in her, but with Damon at her side, everything became easier.
"I will" he whispered kissing her softly.
"Would you stay with me?" she asked him resting her head on his chest. They were laying on the bed in such a comfortable way that made Bonnie feel herself quickly falling asleep.
"Always"
"So tomorrow is Bamon's anniversary" Caroline said walking towards Bonnie and Elena the morning after.
"Yes. Six months" Elena said with a smile.
"So what are you going to do?" Caroline sat between Bonnie and Elena cheerful.
"I don't know. If I'm honest, I'm excited but I don't know if Damon wants to make a big deal with it. I mean, after all is only 6 months" She said questioning herself. Wasitimportantornot?
"But IT IS such a big deal. You have been 6 months together! 6 months! There are two reasons to celebrate it. One, you two have last 6 months together, which is incredible" Caroline felt Elena's hand hitting her arm. She just rolled her eyes, "and two, is the half of a year. The half!"
"She's right Bon" Elena said looking from Bonnie to Caroline repeatedly. "When I and Stefan got to the 6 months together we spent the weekend alone in the lake's house"
"Wasn't it the time when the werewolves attacked you and Stefan there?" Bonnie asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, but that's not the point"
"So what should I do?"
"He's Damon. Everything that ends up in sex, is good" Caroline stated.
"Thanks Care, you're helping me a lot in here" Bonnie teased. "Elena?"
"You can go to the lake house if you want" she suggested.
"I don't know… but thanks"
"I can ask Stefan if Damon is planning something, that way you can get an idea"
"That would be great" Bonnie said finally getting relief. She didn't know why she was so excited about celebrating. She guessed it was because she loves Damon and she wants to be as closer as she can be with him. They have already say theLword, they have already make love and she was pretty sure that Damon was the one. But she felt this urge to be with him every hour of the day. As closer as they could. It was almost intoxicating her need for him. It felt like she needed to be with him, now, and enjoy every minute of it.
Almost as she was about to… lose him. The same cold of last night brushed through her making her shiver.
"Bonnie, are you ok?" She heard Caroline voice ask her.
"Yes"
"Are you sure?" Elena asked this time.
"Yes girls, I am sure" she said standing up "I have to go. See you guys later?" she asked looking at her two best friends. Both of them nodded with weird looks in their faces.
"Good Luck" she heard Caroline yell at her before she left the Grill.
"So what are you planning on doing today?" Damon asked her kissing her neck.
Oh,hereitcomes,Bonnie thought
"Nothing, Why?" she said as they pulled away looking at each other eyes.
"Just asking"
"And you? What are you planning on doing today?" Bonnie asked.
"Why? Are you taking me on a date?" he asked smirking.
"Maybe"
"Well, it kind of sucks to tell you that I'm busy today" he said noticing how Bonnie's happy face turned into a sad one.
"Oh" was all that left her mouth.
"Aren't you asking me what am I doing?"
"What are you doing?"
"I'm taking my sexy and lovely girlfriend to celebrate our six months anniversary" he said smiling.
Bonnie looked up at him smiling. He remembered.
"Oh. Good luck" she said before she pulled him down for a fiery kiss.
"Happy six months Anniversary" Damon whispered.
"Happy six months Anniversary" Bonnie repeated hugging him while he played with her hair.
"So…" Damon said looking straight to her face, "shall we?"
She nodded taking his hands in hers feeling how Damon lead her to his car. A couple of minutes passed until she felt the car stopping.
"The woods?" she asked confused.
"Don't judge already" he said getting out of the car and opening the door for her.
"Why, thank you" Damon took her hand walking them inside the woods. After a couple of minutes they stopped.
"So what's next?" Bonnie asked.
"Close your eyes" he said taking her in bride style hearing her laugh. "Are those beautiful eyes already close?"
"As close as they could ever be"
"Good" he said running with his vampire speed. Bonnie felt the wind hit her face hard. She quickly hides her face in Damon's chest inhaling the scent of Damon's cologne.
"We're here" he says putting her back at the floor "you can open them now"
"Damon, this is beautiful" Bonnie said looking at the decoration around her.
"Of course it is, but… don't you remember?" he asked.
"Remember what?"
"This place"
"No"
"This is where we first met" Bonnie's eyes float open. "You were 5 and you were climbing up this three because you were so sad after your mom left. I was watching over you like I always did and I caught you before you fell to the ground. You were crying so hard because your mother left and your Grams was looking everywhere for you" Damon told her realizing how Bonnie face came to a realization. He continued "I took you to your house. You were sleeping in my arms once I got there. Your Grams received you. When I came back here, I found this" Damon said taking out of his pocket a silver necklace with a green heart hanging in the middle "I remembered you were wearing it so I keep it to give it to you but your Grams didn't let me get close to you, so…" he ended seeing how tears rolled down over Bonnie's cheek.
"I remember. It was my mother's necklace. She gave it to me when…" she breathed deeply "when she left"
"Sorry if I didn't gave it to you before. There's no excuse for that"
"It's okay" she said taking the necklace in her hands and smelling it.
"It smells like her. After years passed me by, I forgot how she smelled" she said closing her eyes feeling how Damon removed her tears. "Thank you" she whispered.
"Let me help you with that" he said walking behind her and pulling her hair out of her neck before he placed the necklace around it. Bonnie took the necklace in her hands again opening the green heart. Inside of it there was a picture of her with her mom. She felt her crying became harder.
"Shhh… I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry today"
"She left. And even if it hurts me I still think she had a reason. And I love her" she said whipping her tears out "I'm not sad" she said hugging him "I just miss her and this… this is means so much to me Damon, so much…"
"I know"
"Thank you" she whispered in his ear, "I love you so much"
"I love you too" he said kissing her.
He was the one. She knew it.
The way he makes her feel. They way he looks at her.
If maybe, just maybe, they weren't going to end up together she either way felt that Damon was the one.
The one she will always see and the one she will always love.
Just him. Always him. Forever Damon.
And suddenly she felt darkness approaching.
"Isn't this fascinating?" they heard a voice coming back from the woods. But it wasn't any voice. It was that voice.
"Klaus" Bonnie whispered as Damon pulled her behind him in sign of protection.
"Bonnie and Damon. Who would have known?" Klaus said approaching to them "I guess what Katerina said was true. 'Fromhatredtolovethereisonlyonestep'; 'Loveandhate,suchafineline'" his accent made an evil echo beneath the trees.
"Seriously? After all, you decided to come back again?" Damon asked with a slight of sarcasm.
"Expect the unexpected"
"What do you want Klaus?" Bonnie asked not leaving Damon's side.
"Well Love, I was bored in New York so I decided to give you all a visit since we didn't say goodbye in good terms" he looked over to Damon who was still in front of Bonnie putting a face of deep madness.
"That sounds like one of your games" she said. Klaus smiled.
"I'm always open to games, sweetheart. It keeps me entertained" Klaus approaching more, "what about if we play one now" he said speeding up over them staking Damon in the stomach and throwing him the opposite direction.
"Do not use your powers on me and do not move" he said to Bonnie. "You know, yesterday I realized I was so stupid. I didn't know I could compel witches" he turned back to look at Damon. "You two have impressed me. You must love each other a lot to have the courage to be together. A witch and a vampire, terrible combination" he said stepping closer to Bonnie. "Because you do love each other, right?"
"I swear for good I'm going to kill if you go near her again" Damon yelled taking the stake out of him yelling in pain in the process. At the same time Bonnie cried because the presentiment was becoming truth. Something really bad was about to happen.
Damon speeded quickly towards Bonnie but Klaus, faster than him, throw him to the ground.
"Be obedient as your girlfriend and do not move" Klaus said compelling Damon.
"This is so funny. I'm not bored anymore" Klaus said standing up with a huge smile in his face. "What if we play a small game?" he asked at Bonnie and Damon.
"I know you have your doubts Bonnie. Deep down inside you still wonder if Damon really loves you or you're just the rebound" Klaus said looking at Bonnie. "Well, how about if we found out?" he said towards Damon.
"Do you love Bonnie?"
"Yes"
"Do you love Elena?"
"As my sister-in-law"
"Is Bonnie the rebound?"
"No" Damon said feeling dizzy from the compulsion.
Bonnie started crying again silently. All she wanted to do was hug Damon and tell him how much she loves him and kiss him so hard. But she couldn't move.
"Just in case" Klaus said walking towards Bonnie this time.
"Do you love him?"
"Yes"
"Good. This is such a beautiful moment for you, Lovebirds" Klaus laughed putting his hands on his pocket.
"Stop playing, you son of a bitch" Damon yelled at him.
"Oh, don't be rude with your majors, Damon" Klaus said walking in circles around them.
"You witch tried to kill me twice" he said looking at Bonnie, "and you tried to kill me too Damon. What am I going to do with you two?"
"Klaus, please just let him go" Bonnie begged.
"No! Let her go. Take me" Damon said.
"Awww… you're so cute. And you know what? You convinced me. I'm gonna hear you both, Love" Bonnie let out a breath of relief although she was still crying, "I'm gonna let her go safe and I'm gonna let him go too. But here's the trick" he walked in front of Bonnie forcing her to look at him.
"You're not gonna remember I was here. This man over here means nothing to you anymore" Klaus said pointing to Damon while Bonnie looked at him hypnotized.
"Noooo!" Damon yelled furious, not being able to break the compulsion on him.
I'm not ready to let go
Cause then I'd never know
What I could be missing
"… You never met Damon Salvatore and you surely do not longer love him. He's just a stranger to you. You will remember everything you have live until now, but not him…"
"Stop it!" Damon yelled again. Klaus rushed over him.
But I'm missing way too much
So when do I give up
What I've been wishing for?
"This happens when you mess with me, Salvatore. Sends greetings to Stefan from me" Klaus said turning to look at Bonnie.
"You can faint now Love" he said to Bonnie and quickly look at Damon "you can move now"
I shot for the sky
I'm stuck on the ground
Luckily Damon got at time to catch Bonnie before she hits the ground. She was fainted as Klaus compelled her to be. He felt how Klaus left in the next few seconds the woods.
He stayed holding her closer to him for minutes still thinking in what just happened. Did she really was forced to not…
"Where am I?" Bonnie's voice said and he looked down at her seeing how she slowly opened her eyes.
"Klaus. He was here and…"
So why do I try?
I know I'm gonna fall down
"Who are you?" Bonnie asked confused.
Ohnononononono… Damon thought.
"Come on Bonnie. You can't be serious. It was just a game. You have to…" Damon tried to say but…
"Stay away from me!" Bonnie yelled standing up and stepping a few steps away from him.
I thought I could fly
So why did I drown?
"I'm Damon, Bonnie. You know that" Damon tried to walk closer to her but she kept stepping away.
"No, I don't. I have never seen you before in my life" she yelled running away as faster as she could.
I'll never know why
"Damn you, Klaus" Damon said feeling tears approach his eyes before running after her.
It's coming down, down, down
A/N: So this is the first chapter.
I know it was sad for Bonnie and Damon, but you'll get to see a lot of flashbacks and Bamon interaction in the next chapters.
I'm putting a Stelena and Staroline v/s in the pairings because… you'll see.
