Life
Where does one find life worth living?
I find it in the simplest places.
If I travel to a new place far away from home,
Or watch the sun flood the horizon with light,
Or dance in the torrential rains of spring,
Or sing badly along with the radio,
Or laugh with friends, or talk with the same
Or say hello to someone new,
Or see a vibrant rainbow after rain
Or watch a city's lights shine at midnight,
Or my cat and her String,
Or horses, or riding in the lush pastures,
Or waves crashing onto the sandy shore, fish swimming against the current
Or tiny flowers growing in the grass;
These little adventures make life beautiful
Everything together is life, but each day is a new beginning.
The world is teaming with new possibilities,
Every second is wonderful, magical,
Every minute is glorious,
Every day is full of good and bad, spread out in majesty to be explored
Time is an adventure,
Seconds, minutes, hours, days,
They all hold something new for us,
Who could ask for more?
