Sokka looked at the game. It couldn't be that hard. From the instructions next to the joystick, it looked like all he had to do was direct the claw over a stuffed animal and push the button. He inserted the quarters.
(Two hours later)
"!"
He had been playing the game for hours and nearly spent all his money! The thing must be rigged, he decided.
"Hi Sokka!"
Aang was walking over to the game, apparently with a lot more tokens than Sokka had. He was smiling his big happy smile like always.
"Hey Aang. Where's Katara?"
"Yelling at some Zutarians. Can I play?"
"Okay, but I've got to warn you, your wasting your time. The game's probably rigged."
Aang inserted his money. The timer and music started. He moved the claw over a stuffed female winged lemur. He pressed the button. The claw dropped. And brought the lemur up and into the prize slot.
"Yeah! Momo will love this!"
Aang ran off to show Katara. Sokka was speechless.
"Hey, can I try?"
Toph was standing next to the claw machine.
Sokka smiled. Aang might have gotten lucky, but there was no way that a blind girl could win.
"Go ahead."
Toph put her feet up against the metal machine, concentrated for a moment, and then started to play. When the game was over, she had not only grabbed one toy, but had managed to obtain three in one shot.
Just then, Momo glided up to the machine, grabbed some of Sokka's money, and began to move the claw around. He walked away from the game carrying a stuffed flying bison. Sokka fainted.
