Can you see the real me

Inside I'm broken and torn

pieces shattered

Scattered and left all on my floor

I'm hiding the truth

believing in the lie

No way it could have happened to me

I eyes must have gone blind

You were suppose to protect me

and watch me grow

But you raped me and

snatched part my soul

You fooled everyone

Made me believe it was my fault

took my innocents

and stole all my trust

Some how I got away

but I still carry the scars

I can't face myself in the mirror

knowing that was your favourite part

how can anyone else

stand to look at me

a dirtied, unclean, freak

Yes, this is how I think

So I sit and draw

letting some of my true feeling show

waiting for time to slow

knowing that for now

I am truly alone

Time passed and somehow I found the one for me

So can't you leave me be

he knows the truth

all about you

and he is not pleased

So now I want you to go

start walking and never turn back

But, before you leave I want you to know

your princess has grow into a queen

she chose another to protect her assets

not the one who made her scars

but the one not afraid of flaws

for he too has many

The queen is cleaned

her soul set free

and now it is you

who is nothing but a dirty old man

now leave and remember this

The queen doesn't need you now

she didn't need you then

and she will never need you

not even in the end
