It had been a couple weeks since the battle with Xemnas had come to an end and everything was pretty peaceful on Destiny Islands. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, Kairi and Sora were walking down the beautiful sandy beach casually bumping arms and being casually flirty as usual.
"Umm….Sora?" Kairi asked shyly. "Yeah, Kairi?" Kairi had a perplexed look on her face, but suddenly decided to veer away from what was on her mind. "Hey! Let's go swimming!" She exclaimed. She then began running dizzily into the clear blue water, and Sora chased after her. "Hey Sora!" Kairi splashed some crystal blue water into his face. "Hey!" he exclaimed running after her. They began to chase each other around splashing the cold water at one another. Sora came at Kairi and flipped her over his back, then after a struggle the two fell to the ground.
Kairi, her bright red hair drenched, stared up at Sora intensely with her piercing blue eyes. Sora then turned bright red and got up quickly. "I-I'm Sorry, Kairi" He said shyly. Then before he could think, Kairi pulled him into a deep passionate kiss. As their lips locked it looked as though neither of them could have ever been happier.
As they both pulled away, Sora looked deeply into Kairi's eyes. "Kairi…" Kairi looked longingly at him, "Yes, Sora?" He looked longingly back at her, "I love you." He said these words so passionately, that it was hard to believe Sora was the same person. Kairi looked pleasantly surprised and without any hesitation replied to him. "I love you too, Sora"
Then as the sun set on the island, Sora pulled Kairi into a sweet passionate kiss, that felt as though it could overcome time itself. Kairi and Sora finally pulled away, and embraced each other. "Sora, I think I could stay like this forever", Kairi said breathlessly. Sora showed one of his famous charismatic smiles. "You know what Kairi? I was thinking the exact same thing."
