A/N: So when I went on my vacation to Montana, we went to this cool ghost town. I was looking into what was the jail in that town when this idea sparked into my head. Bless the magical fairies! :^P
Jenny a the picture of the outside of the small, rickety building that was apparently a jail at one point in history. "So, Gibbs, ever been to a ghost town before?"
"Nope," Gibbs replied, looking at the ground by the entrance.
"You scared?" Jenny teased.
"Nope," he repeated. He looked over at her, a smirk creeping on his face. "But I sense some fright coming off of you…"
"No way!"
"I'm joking, Shepard. Don't get your panties in a twist." He entered the building, Jenny following behind. She was surprised he had even said that to her. He was getting a lot more loose around her these days.
She snapped a picture of the body of the marine lying in the cell. She walked over to the door, about to open it, when she noticed a lock on it. "That's weird. It's locked."
"Keys are right there," Gibbs said, pointing at a ring of keys lying two feet from the door.
Jenny tilted her head, confused. "That's also weird." She picked up the keys, jingling them around. Suddenly, she felt a chill run up her spine. "Is it me, or did it just get a little colder in here?"
"So you are frightened," Gibbs said, looking around for any sign of footprints.
"Who's frightened?" Ducky asked as he walked through the door, a medical case in his hand.
"No one," Jenny quickly said. She found the key that worked and opened up the cell door. "Why'd the killer lock the door and leave the keys right in plain sight?"
"That's what you're going to find out," Gibbs said.
Jenny took a quick snap of the dead body before starting to walk over to it. She was stopped when she felt a hand grasp around her throat, holding her in a chokehold. She was forced against the wall, a couple of inches off the ground, being choked to death. No one could be seen, though.
"G..Gibbs," she choked out, letting out a small cough.
Gibbs, who had already seen what was going on, rushed into the cell and was about to get to her when he was shoved hard, flying across the cell and landing next to the dead body. He grunted in pain, looking for the person that had hit him, but no one was in the cell except for him, Jenny, and the dead body.
"What the—?"
"Get out," said a voice that sent more chills up Jenny's spine. "Take your stuff and leave this place. Never come back."
Jenny fell onto her knees as the hand released her. Gibbs came over to her and helped her up, supporting her and grunting in pain a little when he bent the wrong way and his side started to hurt. "Duck, grab the body."
"Jethro, you aren't really considering leaving, are you?" Ducky asked.
"Something tried to kill us, Duck. I'm pretty sure that we found out who killed the Marine. There's no need to be here anymore," Gibbs said, walking with Jenny back to the truck.
A/N: Sudden ending, and it was short, but it was what I thought of. Thanks for reading! Please review now! :D
