AN: This is a short poem about Shannon before the island. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this or just leave it as it is. It all depends on what you think of it lol! The poem is from Shannon's point of view. Please R&R!

I stroll into the girl's bathroom

The sanctuary for females

Standing in front of a cracked mirror

Brushing my hair and fixing my lip-gloss

I see one of the new cheerleaders

Crying her eyes out

Mascara and eyeliner

Streaming down her face

Surrounded by a cluster of friends

Mildly curious, I lean in to hear

The girl's sobbed story

She says her football star boyfriend

Left her

Saying he was seeing some other girl

I smile smugly on the inside

Knowing

That 'other girl'

Is me
