Yay my first story. Hope you enjoy. ^^

Kagome lifted her yellow bag from the well to the ground covered in grass. She was smiling and wiped the sweat that hung on her temples. Her hair was dripping wet, but she didn't give a care. While she sat on the edge of the well panting, a flowing light attracted her attention. She had a good look of it, and found it was one of Kikyo's shinidamachu.

She frowned, feeling that something was off, but followed them curiously. She saw Inuyasha. Her face beamed and was immediately replaced by fear when she saw him hugging Kikyo. Well, you should know when to respect people at the right time.

"I'll protect you Kikyo, Naraku isn't allowed to touch you at all." That was the only sentence she heard, while the others were a blur. The last thing she saw from Kikyo, was her shinidamachu warping their bodies around her, and carrying her away.

Inuyasha stared at the dead priestess for a while, and then turned to the direction of Kagome, who just came out from her hiding spot.

"What happened? Was Kikyo alright?" She asked Inuyasha with a worried expression. Inuyasha said nothing, but just stared at her.

Kagome waved her hand in front of Inuyasha's face. Surely he hadn't fainted like that while standing, right?

"...Naraku wanted to kill her by using another shinidamachu, but i came just in time to kill it." He finally answered and firmly held Kagome's waving wrist.

"Is it? I'm glad." She said with a pure smile, and relaxed. She tried to pull back her hand, but Inuyasha held on tightly, her hand not budging from the spot.

Kagome frowned. "Could you let go?" She asked. "It hurts."

Inuyasha stared at her again, and let go of her hand. She pulled her wrist to her eyes, her hand was kind of pale, and her wrist hand a red hand mark on it.

She glared at the Hanyou. Inuyasha rolled his eyes. "I thought you needed another three days?"

She stuck out her tongue. "Oh come on, I was just trying to scare you, you deserved that scare."

This time, Inuyasha was the one who glared her. Kagome shot him a look saying 'you-still-deserved-it'.

The rumble of Inuyasha's stomach broke the silence. Kagome giggled lightly while Inuyasha blushed.

"Come on, let's get to Kaede's and I'll give as much ramen as you want." Kagome smiled to him and turned to walk.

Inuyasha sighed, but followed her.
