Chapter One: Slater's Story
After the college years A.C. Slater and Alex, whom he had fell in love with at college, stayed together. They had a wonderful summer together. It wasn't until August when Alex told Slater the good and bad news. Alex, who had a life long dream of becoming an actress, had been accepted to the acting program at New York University. This meant that she would have to go live in New York while Slater would be in California. It took a couple days for Slater to digest everything that was going on. He finally decided that he would go to New York with her. They would get an apartment and he could find a job so that he could support both of them. Alex was so excited that she called the airline and ordered two first-class tickets to New York for the next day. After hours of packing and a little sleep it was time for Slater and Alex to say goodbye to the California beaches and hello to the Big Apple.
