"So what did Caroline say?" He asked her on their way to the suspects house.
Brennan looked up and spoke, "She said she would help us out…"
Booth looked at her out of the corner of his eye, "But…there's a catch isn't there…what's she want this time?"
She took a deep breath, and bit her lower lip, "She wants another kiss…"
"There's more isn't there?" He saw her nod, "What else can there be?"
Brennan turned to look at him, "Apparently Caroline mentioned the mistletoe kiss to someone, who told Angela," Booth groaned, "Well Caroline told her that if she could keep her mouth shut and leave us alone about it, the next time we needed something…"
"What is it Bones?"
"We have to kiss in front of Angela…for more than five steamboats…"
He heard her hesitate, "You not saying something."
"Tongue."
He has to bit his cheek to keep from grinning like an idiot, "I'll talk to Caroline and Angela, we don't have to do it."
Her eyebrows furrowed, "You, you don't' want to?"
His head swiveled so fast it could have made a full revolution, "What? Of course…I, I mean, I don't….Bones." She looked hurt by his words tried to hide it from him, but knew it was useless, he could always catch it. "Of course I want to kiss you." He spoke softly, his right cheek rising slightly.
She barely heard him but when she caught his words she pressed her lips together and then bit her lower lips, trying horribly to stop the smile that was spread across her face.
