Prologue

Detective Ibiki Morino knew the background of Sasuke Uchiha. The was easily classified as a wbehaved rich child that would eventually achieve the goals that were already predestined for him. His father was a well-known, high-ranking criminal investigator in Japan. Seeing as the boy came from a long line of forensics specialists, criminal investigators and the list goes on, it was no surprise that Detective Morino saw the dark haired Uchiha sitting before him. However, Morino never foresaw the situation they'd be when they finally met to like the one they were currently in.

The room they sat in was like that of a movie. Four grey walls, one door, a camera, a table with three chairs and a light hanging from the center of the ceiling. "Listen kid, we're not letting you leave until you tell us something."

Sasuke rolled his eyes at the older gentleman before him. "Not until I have a lawyer present." Sasuke was no a fool for he was after all an Uchiha.

Morino's hates dealing with smartasses especially, the rich kind. That Hyuga kid was more bearable than this but... "Sasuke–"

The dark haired boy sighs. "Look, Morino. I told you everything I saw. Now, can I go?"

There's something about the way the boy speaks, sits, and looks that tells Mornio he's hiding something.

Before Morino can even reply the door opens. A woman with violet hair tied up in a high ponytail with bangs framing her face appears. Her brown eyes are kind but her expression is serious. "His father is here, Detective. The commissioner says to let him go," Anko states as she begins to open the door wider. "Contact us if you have anything else to offer us, Sasuke." The boy nods and exits the room without a word.

"Nothing. He's a lost cause."

"He'll talk eventually, sir."

Morino holds his tongue. He's doubtful.

.

"Oh my god."

"Shut up. Naruto—"

"I am not being an accessory to a crime!"

"Shut up, blondie. You're already an accessory."

"What's the big idea, Haruno? You want to destroy our futures?"

"Oh, how typical of you pricks. What you going to do run away? Pass along the blame to us 'cause it's easier? East side kids' futures intact and west side kids' futures destroyed before they even start."

"To tell you the truth, your future was over the minute you were born."

"G-guys, p-ple-please–"

"All of you stop talking. You're going to attract attention."

Silence.

"What do you suggest we do, Sasuke?"

More silence.

"Sakura, you get out of here with your friends. Hinata, you call the police. When the police arrive, you all are gone. Neji and I will stay behind and give a coordinated alibi."

.

Sasuke met up with his brunette friend with clear pearl eyes in the lobby. Beside Neji was Sasuke's father, Fugaku Uchiha. The man had a stone cold face. His frown lines by his lips were thanks to his years of duty. "We'll be speaking about this at home." He tells the boys as he leads them out of the precinct. The duo followed behind the the older man hesitantly.

"How'd it go," Neji asks quietly. Fugaku's wrath was something he knew not to toy with. Neji believed that the less he spoke to Sasuke, the better his life expectancy would be.

"Fine," Sasuke looks up. The chances of seeing stars out with all the light around him were slim, but he still examined the darkness above him. "You?"

"Everything went according to the plan."
