I recently watched a movie that had Krampus as a bad guy, so I did some reading about him and found out that he was actually one of Santa's companions. I was thinking that Rise of the Guardians would have been fun with him in it. I don't own rise of the guardians, if I did I would be writing about it on this site.

North's home was warm, despite being located were it was. He had long since discarded his jacket and was eating some cookies at his desk, enjoying a peaceful day when he heard something disturbing.

The sound of hoofs was slowly approaching his door. It was an eerie, unknown sound that didn't belong there.

He stood from his desk and placed a hand on his sword. A single pounding on door seemed to ecco through the room. He steeled himself for what might follow. Slowly he pulled his swords from his belt and bent his knees, ready for something to hit him head on.

Moments later another solid pound thundered through the room. "Who goes there?" he called loudly. The silence that could have only lasted a couple of seconds seemed to go on for hours. "Could it be that you have forgotten me after all this time?" The being on the other side answer in German.

It was a deep, silky voice that North recognized instantly. He rested his swords at his sides once again and slowly walked to the door. In the doorway was a being that stood about half a foot taller than North. A chain was looped around his right shoulder and a switch on a thick leather belt around his waist. He was covered in hair all down his body, all the way to his midnight hoofs. The hair was shades of white, gray and black; fading from lighter to darker as it went down his body. Everything about him seemed sinister about him.

"What beings you here, Krampus?" North asked. He kept his face neutral while talking to him. Krampus smiled widely, showing off his pointed teeth. "I have found something rather unfortunate." North raised an eyebrow, "Oh? What do you mean?" "I am forgotten." Krampus answered. "I am seen as evil and parents no longer want to tell their children of me. I can be seen by no one but spirits."

North nodded as he listened to Krampus. "I'm sorry, that is truly unfortunate." he consoled his old companion. Krampus laughed darkly, "There's nothing to be done of it now." The were a silence between them.

Krampus broke the silence, "I was curious if you would allow me to accompany you today. Perhaps you can tell me of the other guardians." North laughed, "Of course you may accompany me today, there is much work to be done."

He knew that, even though Krampus didn't enjoy working in the workshop, he wouldn't disagree. Krampus didn't want to say it out loud, he North could see in his eye how lonely he was. Jack Frost had gone through the same thing, he wondered if those two would get along.

I wonder if Krampus would have teamed up with the guardians or with Pitch. I could see it going down either way.
