"The map reads the Idle should be directly beneath us." Laura read.
The Idle of Whinttana was legend to the archaeological world. When Laura had been shown a map she saw a once in a life time opportunity. Now they were one step away from the legendary idle that had been at the heart of a great empire. And when she said one step, it was a big step down, a very big step.
"The whole looks about 40 feet down." her partner, David said gazing at the pit in front.
David had first found the map. His men were eager but aimless. Laura was the aim. Cooperating had been an interesting experience. Laura had been an attractive female, and her tank top hadn't helped. She was happy with their envy though, the fact they needed her only proved she was more than just a pretty face.
"Than we abseil." Laura laughed.
They began to put the abseiling equipment on.
"You know, I find it hard to believe you're willing to split profits." Laura added as they bagan their descent into the dark pool of blackness that was the pit.
"Who says were going to share. I think we both know one of is going to betray the other." David asked.
"Well than it's a question of who kills who at the first opportunity." Laura replied with a smile.
"Who says "kills"." David smirked, gazing at Laura's rear end, her tight jeans showing off her well defined buttocks. "With a body like that, I wouldn't let you go anywhere when the opportunity arises."
"Well guess what. Nows the oppurtunity." Laura replied as their legs met the ground.
She pulled her guns from their holsters and pulled the trigger. It took only a split second with her trained reactions.
Nothing happened.
"You sleep quite well. Well enough not to notice when I emptied your round." David laughed.
Laura was nervous. She tensed her muscles and was about to move.
"This weapon however is loaded." David smirked, raising his gun.
Laura felt a dart pierce her skin. Than she was dizzy. As she fell forward she felt David catch her, and his hands roam around her jeans.
"You're going to be very fun." David mused as she lost consciousness.
