Daxter was grumbling to himself again. Hating everything at the present moment. The street, the people, the trees, the grass, the zoomers, the steps to the stadium, every last bit of it. But what he hated most was the box of chocolates he had in his hands. Sending a litany of curses to the simple red heart shape box. Normally he would've eaten half the box by now but if weren't for a pair of eyes watching him, he wouldn't stand a chance.

He reached the top of the steps continuing his grumbling and earned glances from nearby civilians along the way. He came down a certain corridor and into garage three where a certain aqua haired girl that had her attention on totally trashed zoomer that was in dire need of fixing. Welding mask covering her face as she welded away.

"Here's your crummy chocolates," Dax continued to grumble and lifted the box with a very disinterested face and Keira looked down to see him and she had to stifle a giggle as she lifted her mask and placed it on a nearby counter.

"Jak's busy again?" she asked as she knelt down and took the box from him.

"That's what he says but he's really just not man enough yet to deliver it himself," he complained and she hugged it to her chest. She loved her boyfriend and she always loved all the gift he got her but he was the type that doesn't open up about his feelings. She knew prison robbed him of that and being the respectable woman that she is, she would wait for him until he does.

"Well, either way, tell him my thanks and that I love him," she said in a sweetly voice and Dax grumbled even more as he turned to leave. Now mumbling about the blond hero and that he should man up and what not. Going down the fleet of steps and towards a parked zoomer that had said elf leaning against it and staring intently on the orange animal.

"Did you give it to her?" Jak asked as Dax drew closer.

"Do you see the box, Jak? 'Cuz I don't," Daxter snapped back and Jak could only hold back a laugh at his friend's behavior.

"Did she say anything?"

"Yeah, she said 'thanks' and..." he mumbled the last thing Keira wanted him to say and Jak didn't quite catch him.

"What else did she say?" he pressed and Dax let out a loud grunt.

"She said she loves you. Are you happy now?" he answered every bit irritated.

"Very. You ready to go?" Daxter sent him a hot glare.

"I've been ready since we came here," he replied as he got on Jak's shoulder. Jak shook his head as he got on the zoomer and went off to do a mission for Torn.
