Disclaimer: I don't own anything. Rats!
Ben-
What are you doing? Dragging her along? She'll probably turn you in first chance she gets. Of course, she won't leave without the declaration, but that doesn't mean she can turn you over to the FBI. I can't really tell if she's asleep or not. It's too dark in the car. Riley's sprawled out on the back seat.
Oh, she turned over and sat up straighter.
"Where are we?" she yawned.
"Couple hours away still." I replied.
She was silent again.
Abigail-
What am I doing? One minute I'm ready to run with the declaration, and now I'm actually curious. I didn't really think there would be anything on the back of the declatation, but it was there. Now I'm in a car headed to Philadelphia, and I barely know the people I'm with. Ben seems to know what he's doing, but he's just a treasure hunter, right?
"Hey," Ben said, "Are you hungry? We never did get to eat at that party."
"Yes, I am hungry."
"Ok, we can stop in the next town for something." he said.
I could try to escape when we go into town. Ben would never leave the declaration here with me, but I could get to a phone.
"McDonald's sound good?" he asked.
"Sure."
Ok, when he goes in to order, I'll run.
Ben parked the car by the door.
"Hey, Riley." Ben shook him awake. "You want something? We're at McDonald's."
"I want a cheesburger without cheese." replied Riley.
"Ya sure, Riley."
Ben's looking at me expectantly.
"I'll take a hamburger."
Ben grabbed the declaration, and went inside. Riley fell back to sleep.
Do I run?
