AN: So, I have recently become addicted to One Tree Hill. Surprise, surprise. (P.S. Thanks a lot Nicki! Haha, just kidding.)
So, anyways, my brother and sister-in-law are out of town, and Nicki is baby-sitting their kids while they are gone.
She was bored being at their house all alone, so she wanted me to go out and spend the night with them.
Now, here I am. Sitting here, watching One Tree Hill one DVD, and writing about it.
ARGH. I am rambling! -gasp-
Random One-Shot!
Discloser: I do not own One Tree Hill, or any of its affiliates. If I did, I wouldn't be writing stories and putting them on here. I would be writing stories and putting them on your television.
On With The Story!
"No." Lucas Scott shouted at his mother, Karen. "Mom, I'm not lying to you! I swear to you, I saw him!"
"No, you didn't Lucas." Karen shouted back at him. "You didn't see him, Lucas. You didn't see him, because he is dead."
"Mom." Lucas breathed. "I saw him, and you know it."
"I'm not discussing this with you Lucas." Karen sighed, as she walked away.
"You know it, mom!" Lucas yelled after her. "You know it!"
"Fight Lucas. You have to fight." The voice was so familiar I would know who it belonged to anytime I heard it.
"Keith? Is that you?" I asked looking around trying to find him.
Dark. That is all I see.
"Fight Lucas. You have to fight." There it is again. I can hear him, but I can't see him.
"Where are you Keith? I can't see you"
I feel something behind me, and turn around and see him. Standing in a spotlight like he was a rockstar.
"You have to fight Lucas. Fight." Keith says, starting to raise his voice. I think he is angry, but I can't be sure. What is he talking about? Fight? What am I fighting?
"Fight what?" I ask.
"Don't you remember?" He asks, sounding concerned.
"Remember? Remember what?" I question, getting angry.
"You have to remember Lucas. So you can fight!"
I start to ask him what I need to remember, but then I get it.
Haley.
The car.
The baby.
No.
My heart.
I had a heart attack after Haley got hit by the car. Now I am dying.
Damn it! I should have taken my medicine.
"Am I dying Keith?" I ask, my eyes welling up with tears.
"Yes, Lucas. Unless you start fighting! Please Luke. Fight." Keith pleaded.
"Is Haley okay?" I asked. "What about her baby?"
"They are going to be fine Lucas." Keith sighed. "But it will kill Haley if you don't live."
"I saw him mom." Lucas whispered. "I saw him, and he is the reason I am still alive."
Karen heard him, and leaned against the wall, while a silent tear rolled down her face.
"I believe you Lucas." She says. "I always believed you."
AN: So there it is. It popped into my head, so I wrote it.
Anyways, R&R.
