Cipher 9 could feel the hungry and amused gaze of Hunter from across the bar. Typically she wasn't bothered by men, or women, looking her over, but this guy made her feel as though he was in her skull and they hadn't even exchanged a word yet. Many people stared at Cipher 9 due to her race. There weren't many Chiss left, and from what Cipher had gathered, they tend to stick together. It was rare, but always a pleasant surprise for Cipher to meet another person of her race.
Cipher observed as he attempted to pick up a pretty young married woman at the bar, but she wasn't having it, and ultimately left him smirking at the counter.
My turn, the young Imperial Agent thought to herself as she crossed the room with confidence and determination. She pretended to not notice him, scanning her eyes over the magnitude of liquor that decorated the shelves, but she felt him leering. Finally, he stepped forward, allowing just a couple feet of space in between them.
"Aww, she didn't finish her drink," he smiled at Cipher, "can I interest you in what's left of a Cassandra Sunrise?"
Bait and catch...she successfully thought to herself. Cipher turned toward to face him, looked up into his eyes and smiled warmly, "buy us a bottle, and we can start fresh."
He was handsome, had a good balance of rugged and soldier next-door looks. His eyes were a cool green and held a firm hold over Cipher's eyes. Strong cheekbones were bruised, and his chisled jaw was held tight, despite his affectionate smile. He wants to look inviting, but he's ready to kill if necessary, Cipher observed. He stood a few inches taller than her, and was built fairly average, but with muscle. I won't underestimate his strength, he's more than likely stronger than he appears to be, she noted.
"I like you. Too bad, really," the man said delicately as he took another step forward. "Code name Hunter, Strategic Information Service. I hear you want to switch sides."
Cipher was prepared to do what she needed to for her job, even if it meant becoming a double-agent. While she sided with the Empire, specifically Imperial Intelligence the most, there were many qualities of the Republic that she respected. With everything that had transpired recently, especially with Darth Jadus, Cipher began to question where she truly stands with Intelligence.
