Sonic Chronicles:Tails the Traitor

Hello,everyone.This is a sequal I came up with for SC: The Dark Brotherhood.The name gives the title away.There's a new character: Val of the Nocturnus.Basicly a male counterpart to Shade.Also the nocturnus aren't dead yet.

"Psst."

"Psst,wake up."

I felt a hand tap me on the shoulder.

"Val,wake up!"

I sat up in my bed.There was a Nocturnus Scout standing there.He must have woke me up.

"What?" I asked.

"Master Ix requests your presence in the throne room." He said

The scout left my room.I sat up on the edge of my bed and rubbed my eyes.If Ix wanted to see me at this time,I must have stepped in it bigtime.I slid on a robe over my PJs and walked out.It was about a 5-minute walk from my quarters.I turned around,realising I forgot my Warp Watch.It's simmilar to the Warp Belts,but is a watch,not a belt.I got it and started off again.

I reached the throne room and as soon as I pushed the giant doors open,Ix was screaming at me.

"You failed on the Kron Colony!They still refuse to work!You have failed me for the last time!"

This wasn't the first time I'd screwed up.Once on Voxai Colony Beta,nearly all my troops were decimated in an ambush.Only the elites and myself made it out alive.

"You know what,you old coot,I'm sick of you!"

Ix's mouth hung open in astonishment,not believing one of his own people just had the nerve to yell back at him.

"Kill him!!"Ix command to the Nocturnus scouts.

I was done for.I didn't have my power armor.I had no way to defend myself.Then,who comes busting through the door? Sonic and Co. do! They went at Ix and the scouts,execpt for Shade,who got me by the scruff of my robe and pinned me aginst the wall,leech blade to my neck.

"S-Sh-Sh-Shade.You wouldn't kill an unarmed p-person,would you?"I had to bargain for my life.

"Shade,let him go.Ix is the target.We can take him down later." Knuckles told her.

Shade let go of me,and I slunk to the ground in a heap.The chased after Ix down the right passage.I ran back to my room and put on my armor.I could head Ix off at a small pass near the end of the passage.I got in posistion.

I saw Ix running down the passage.I activated my leech blade and lept out in front of him.I sprang in his direction and admistered two leech blade strikes. I landed behind him and stabbed him in the back repeatedly.He slunk to the ground.

"Stun setting?" Shade asked me.I nodded.

"He'll be sleeping like a baby for at least 16 hours."

"Looks like I was wrong about you,Val"Shade stated.
