Author's note: So, this is just a random idea that came to me in the middle of the night :P LOL I was listening to "Forgotten" by Jamestown Story (some of the lyrics match the situation) and ideas just started to float I had to write it down. So, I hope you enjoy! :)
I watch the 2 of you out of the corner of my eye, laughing and stealing quick kisses before the watchful eye of a teacher comes by. I smile a sad smile. Despite the fact that whenever I see you with him it cuts me like a knife, I'm glad you're happy. Your finally happy, standing there with Degrassi's new heartthrob. I just hope he knows.
I hope he knows how lucky he is to look into those mesmerizing blue eyes. Those eyes that shine threw and match the color of the sky. The beautiful orbs that were the first thing that caught my attention, and I told you they were pretty. I hope he does as well.
I hope he notices the way you play with your cross necklace when your nervous. Or how you blush when you exposed to something the least bit embarrassing. How it adds even more colour to your rosemary cheeks.
I just hope he knows how lucky he is to just...be with you. To get to hold you and fight back your sarcastic remarks. To watch your curls bounce as you laugh. And it makes me wonder if he also knows how deeply envious I am. I'd give up the world to be with you once more, but its not like that could happen. Because he is what makes you happy now. Not me. And as long as you're happy, I should be too. And not one day goes by that I wish it was still me. That I was the one who could stare into your amazing blue eyes, argue and fight back the sarcastic remarks, hold you tight and protect you from the dangers of the world. But, that time is gone now. Now I'm nothing more then a friendly face to you. But to me you'll always be my angel with blue eyes.
I just hope he knows.
